Callecat is the musical fusion between two Dutch guys who share their passion for music, coffee and cats. They have both been DJing separately and together they have more than 30 years of international DJ experience in various genres. In 2017, the duo started collaborating for some studio work, inspired by artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn and Guy J. This resulted in lots of fun and releases on Manual Music, 3rd Avenue, One Of A Kind, MNL, Magnitude Recordings, Future Avenue, Bevel Rec, Concrete Kin and 8music. As they share a passion for progressive deep house, they strive to bring you a warm and melodic sound.

lucky escape remix on 3rd avenue

The latest release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint welcomes Different Ray and Arteforma Tunisia back to the label with the remix edition for the previously released "Distorted Feelings EP". Callecat, Erol Arda, Diego Miranda (CH) and ID.Jay got invited to do a remix.

stretch marks remix on manual music

Originally released on 90watts, Jochem Hamerling's Stretch Marks single now gets a fresh overhaul on Manual Music with a pair of brand new remixes by Callecat and Cyantist, making this an all Dutch affair. A little something for everyone to enjoy here as Callecat go for their trademark rolling progressive house sound, whilst Cyantist open up the synths for a more emotive and melodic rework.

alborz remix on one of a kind

"Alborz", as the EP is called, is a real example of old-skool progressive with a touch of new age sounds, and it can be said that it is a real club song. On remix duty we have two more debutants on One Of A Kind, and they are Callecat, a fusion between two Dutch guys who share their passion for music and create wonderful pieces of music, as well as the phenomenal Yudi Watanabe who comes to us from Campinas, Brazil!

solenodon remix on manual

Namatjira's Moons of Yesterday story continues with yet another great addition of fresh remixes. This time it's an all Dutch affair as Callecat and Paul Hazendonk step up to the plate to show their remix abilities.

Callecat kick things off with their interpretation for 'Solenodon'. The result is simply breathtaking, as they've managed to incorporate the trademark violin melody to maximum effect. Lovely emotions throughout this one and again proof why these guys are one of the fastest rising names in progressive house at the moment.

akrasia ep on manual

Even though Callecat is relatively new to the scene, the Dutch duo have been making a rapid rise to recognition with their continuous high quality output. The maturity of their productions would make you believe they've been around for many years already.

Now returning on Paul Hazendonk's MNL label after last years well received 'Cabin In The Woods' EP and- more recently- their remix for Brann's single 'With No Mask', they delight us with two powerful pieces of progressive house; 'Akrasia' and 'The Alchemist'.

On remix duties we've got industry veterans K Loveski and Namatjira sharing their unique vision on both songs.

sequence remix on ah digital

DJ and Producer from Northern Ireland Darren Bray debutes on AH Digital with "Sequence". Both title track and his second original track "Collider" are wonderful melodic/progressive house productions. With great remixes by Callecat and Soulmade (AR).

intensity remix on future avenue

Founded in 2020 Future Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella. Sitting alongside fellow subdivisions 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds, Future Avenue looks to provide a home for new and rising talent. With an ethos centred around progressive music and its surrounding derivatives, the label is a platform which gives up and coming artists a chance to showcase their music alongside established veterans as they carve out their own musical identity.

The latest release welcomes Hernan Martinez from Argentina back to the label with a remix EP for "Reflection". The original EP got a release in 2021. Label regulars Callecat, APNITUS and Xspance got invited to do a remix.
